Curricular activities (Bachelor)

Personal Motivation Assessment (PMA)

This course (course code: ELS51901) is offered as an elective course for Bachelor and Master students. You will get the opportunity to increase your self-awareness via different assignments. Via the workbooks of the Motivational Compass you will learn more about your intrinsic motivation, your motives and how to make conscious study and career choices.

Career Exploration (MOS Module)

The MOS module Career Exploration (course code: ELS65900) is offered to facilitate explorative learning about your career options and to make your career questions and dreams and search processes explicit. Find more info about this course in Osiris.


Academic Consultancy Training (ACT)

Academic Consultancy Training course (ACT) provides you the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team on a specific question or challenge for a commissioner. A great way to learn for yourself what it is like working in a team. Listening, communicating, presenting, delegating are key for a good end result. A coach will give practical feedback on your role in the ACT team.

STS provide an overview of extracurricular activities for WUR students. Think of hands-on workshops & short training courses to improve your study skills, work on your (mental) well-being and explore your talents.


Student Challenges

Student Challenges provide a unique opportunity to work on real-life problems and make a difference. Participating in a competition represents unconventional but effective ways of expanding your network, knowledge and skills, and perhaps finding your dream job.

WUR Student Career Services is in close collaboration with career centers of other universities. Via this network, you can make use of the online career modules of Maastricht University to improve your skills (for free).
