Rihab Oubaidah serves as a researcher within the Consumption and Healthy Lifestyles Group at Wageningen University. In 2018, she graduated from the National School of Architecture and Urban Planning in Morocco, subsequently dedicating two years to policymaking. Between 2021 and 2023, she accomplished her second master's degree at KU Leuven in Belgium, achieving magna cum laude honors.

During her academic journey, Rihab engaged in diverse research initiatives, spanning community land trusts, participatory research in South Africa, and action research in Leuven, in collaboration with local organizations, the city of Leuven, and knowledge institutions in Belgium. This diverse background underscores her role as a multidisciplinary team player, adept at addressing various facets of community well-being enhancement.

At present, Rihab is actively involved in health promotion interventions and participatory youth research as part of the SURREAL project. This initiative aims to co-create healthy interventions tailored for a minority youth group, specifically those of Moroccan descent. Beyond physical well-being, Rihab's focus extends to critical issues such as social exclusion, stigma, and a pervasive sense of non-belonging.

Her research is particularly dedicated to bridging the divide between policymakers, local youth organizations and the Moroccan community in Hoograven. Rihab's interdisciplinary program draws inspiration from her diverse experience, offering insightful examinations the wellbeing of the minority (Moroccan) youth and families. These examinations consider the in-depth socio-cultural factors that shape these experiences, showcasing Rihab's commitment to contributing to a more inclusive and healthier society.
