Knowledge dissemination Soil and Land use
The soil and water system is becoming increasingly important for the major tasks that we have in the Netherlands. Thanks to the Soil Information System (BIS) and the inclusion of many of these data and maps (models) in the BRO, this information is accessible to everyone. Promoting this use, application and possibilities is of great importance.
Within this project, communication with regard to the updating projects is done from Wageningen Environmental Research. This will continue the line of previous years. The objective is a quarterly newsletter provided there is enough to report from the field, organizing the annual BIS Symposium 2022 for users and supplying copy for BRO newsletters. In 2022 we will make a story map and a film and we will communicate with the BRO and TNO program office to ensure that the shallow subsurface receives sufficient attention.
